I studied in La Lingua, the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course for 16 weeks and it was a very good experience for me. The quality of the teachers were very good, they helped a lot with my IELTS preparation and I did the IELTS Academic exam and I got a very good score, it was 7.5. In the EAP course we did a practice test every 2 weeks and this was very helpful because the practice tests of the school are very similar to the real IELTS. Also my class was very multicultural and there were people from many countries such as France, Germany, Turkey, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Chile, Spain, etc. The atmosphere of the school is very friendly and I made very good friends and I keep in touch with many of them.   I really recommend studying English in La Lingua, because in my personal case my English level improved a lot and I was very successful in the IELTS test. Also the EAP course is very good for people who want to go to the University because the teachers usually do a lot of reading and writing and the level is very high. I have the best memories of my time in La Lingua and I will never forget this experience. It was a great time for me because I studied English very hard but at the same time I met lots of nice people and I also enjoyed Sydney life that is really amazing…     5/28 Student testimonials #11 Ashwaq (GE-4 skills 12 weeks) I found La Lingua Language School by internet, while I was searching for a school in Sydney. The LOGO was really eye-catching. I had picked five English Language schools in Sydney and compared them. La Lingua responded to my questions very efficiently and quickly so I felt that the school was very professional. Also the school has lots of courses I can choose for my needs. I chose the General English course (4skills) to improve my English skills in all areas and I am very happy in the class because the teachers always get us to participate and interact with everyone in the class and I feel my confidence in English is growing everyday! I’m very thankful and lucky to study at La Lingua. I really want to recommend this school for those students who want to learn English.   The teachers are very friendly. All of the staff are very helpful. I can’t say anything else about them, they are awesome.   The school is an ideal place for all students who really want to improve their English language & skills. Good atmosphere to study and everyone is friendly.   The lessons are really helpful, I love all the lessons. We did a lot of work on formal writing and academic listening and reading. We did IELTS practice tests every 2 weeks and the teacher gave us a lot of feedback to help u improve our scores. That is what helped me to get a high score on my IELTS exam. Yes, I’ve got 7! The lessons are not only interesting but essential as well.   I love conversation, especially when talking about the different cultures from different countries. For me, this is the most useful topic if you apply it in your daily living. All of the lessons are useful . One thing is “you must apply it in your everyday life”.   7/13 Student testimonials #9 Café course 6weeks Onphalin (left)  I’ve been a La Lingua student for 3 months now and while I was studying General English and Business English at the college, I heard about La Lingua’s Café course. The café course is very practical and I loved it a lot! The Barista training at the café on Monday nights was my favorite! The trainer is really good, he is very easy to understand and teaches very well too. He is very passionate about coffee so I learnt more than I expected!   Alice(right)  I also found about the café course while I was studying General English course at La Lingua. That interested me greatly,  because I like coffee so I wanted to know all things coffee. My friends who had already taken the café course in La Lingua highly recommended it to me so, I chose La Lingua café course without hesitation. I was taught Hospitality English by Trevor and making coffee by Steve. I can confidently say that both of them are really nice, fun and enthusiastic and their teaching was always exciting as well. I am deeply grateful to both of them.   I love La Lingua! Everybody can enjoy studying English in an atmosphere of freedom. The people are all friendly and warm and the air is always alive with chatter and laughter.   Anyone who loves coffee and wants to work at a café should take the La Lingua café course. I learnt not only about making coffee but also many skills required for a café job like hospital English, the many kinds of food / drink and serving skills.   The best part of this course was making coffee in Sappho’s café with Steve. He is really serious about coffee. He always encouraged us to make good coffee even when we made a mistake.
